The Town of Plattsburgh is applying for $10 million through the Governor’s DRI program. The Town intends to build on past and present planning initiatives focused on enhancing the streetscape aesthetics and walkability of Town Center while encouraging balanced commercial and residential growth in the target area. The DRI program would be a comprehensive approach to boosting the Town’s economy and furthering ongoing revitalization efforts. Over the next few months, the Town will be soliciting project ideas and public input on the vision and goals that will guide the transformation of Town Center into a more attractive mixed-use neighborhood.
